KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Plate design guide
Compare standard, alternate and specialty designs side by side. Every design counts for its state once per player.
Rules & photo credits
Each state counts once for each player. Each bonus type counts once per player. First to 10 states earns a single +5 bonus for the earliest qualifying player. If a mistaken state claim is removed, the bonus is recalculated from the remaining claims in server-recorded order.
The current game total adds all players’ points. High scores show each player’s best single game, best finish, wins and lifetime points across saved games. Player standings are ranked by total points; equal scores share the same rank.
Most state plate examples are from the June–July 2023 government-agency image collection compiled by Jon Keegan / Beautiful Public Data. New York earlier bases are from a NY DMV enforcement bulletin; Nebraska earlier bases and the Delaware standard are from their state DMV references. Designs may have changed. These are selected examples, not every plate available. Canadian references: Routes & Roads. Government references: GSA. Diplomatic references: National Museum of American Diplomacy.
